Meet the Founder
Dr Dhaval Patel graduated from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2003. He has been in Private Practice in Roseville Ca since 2006. Dr Patel has been a Cerec user since 2007 and his articles on Cad/Cam Dentistry have been published in Compendium , Inside dentistry, Cerec Online, 3d-dentists.com as well as Cerec Doctors magazine. He has done presentations on Cerec at Dental Town , CDA , Cerec 30 and Siroworld Meetings and is also a graduate of the Sirona Speakers Academy.
Dr Patel is a beta tester for the Cerec software for Dentsply Sirona. Dr Patel is a KOL for manufacturers like Dentsply Sirona, Kuraray Noritake, Ivoclar Vivadent , Truabutment , Jensen Dental and GC America.
He has trained hundreds of dentists over the last 15 years through his Hands-on CEREC workshops. He is also the founder of the Facebook group Keep CADCAMing. Dr Patel believes that when everyone documents and shares their work we all learn and become better clinicians and we grow as a profession.
Meet the Moderators
Karyn M. Halpern DMD, MS grew up in Long Island, New York. She earned both a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and a master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She completed a general practice residency in 2003 at the New York Presbyterian-Cornell Weill Medical Center in Manhattan. She is the owner of Port Jefferson Smiles, a multi-specialty, private dental practice located in Port Jefferson Station, NY. She is a Lecturer of Continuing Education, Author of Scientific Peer-Reviewed Articles, Peer Reviewer for Dental Journal Publications, CEREC® Educator, KOL for multiple dental companies, and a Leader in the EPIC Women’s Dental Group.

Dr Jake has been practicing in the beautiful Lake Norman area since 2009 at his private family practice with special emphasis on implant and digital dentistry. Dr. Jake is an Advanced Trainer for Patterson Dental, a Beta Tester for Dentsply Sirona and product tester/consultant for multiple dental manufacturers. Dr Jake is also a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona and Kuraray Noritake. Dr. Jake earned fellowships with the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Jake married his classmate sweetheart, Dr. Robin Strickland and they have two wonderful children together.

Steve graduated from the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 2001. He has a practice in Hamilton, NZ and has a special interest in implant and digital dentistry. Steve has been involved in Cerec training having started with Cerec in 2003. He works alongside multiple dental and 3D printing companies but declines KOL contracts in a hope of maintaining some impartiality when it comes to products and brands, especially as an admin/moderator of over a dozen dental Facebook groups. His recommendations for products are ones he uses day-to-day.

Dr Aniruddha Nene Graduated from Sinhgad Dental College, Pune in 2014. He Completed his masters in fixed & removable prosthodontics at King's College London Dental Institute . A 2nd Generation dentist mentored by Dr Suvarna Nene, he set up Pune city ’s first in house CEREC CAD CAM practice in 2017. He lectures on digital dentistry, fixed prosthodontics & implantology. He is one of the youngest KOL globally for Dentsply Sirona and a speaker for Ivoclar Vivadent and a tutor for the MclinDent Prosthodontics program at King’s College London.He is also a visiting faculty at the DY Patil School of Dentistry in Pune, India.

Born in Aksaray, Turkey. He graduated from the Marmara University School of Dentistry in 2008. He received his PhD in 2013 from Restorative Dentistry. He has been teaching and lecturing on posterior direct and indirect restoration nationally and internationally. He has been published many papers at international dental journals. He had been acted as an Editor-in-chief of European Journal of General Dentistry between 2012 to 2021. His main interest area is Endodontics, direct restorations, cad/cam systems and adhesive ceramic restorations. Currently he is working as private practitioner in Kocaeli, Turkey.
